Welcome to the official website of the International Scientific Conference CESGED 2026 (“Conference”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website https://cesged.com (the “Website”) and participation in the Conference.

By accessing the Website or participating in the Conference (including submitting an abstract/paper, registering, or attending), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website and do not participate in the Conference.

All official Conference communication (including submissions) is handled via the e-mail address above unless stated otherwise on the Website.

2) Conference information and changes

The Conference details (dates, venue, program, fees, deadlines, publication/proceedings information) are published on the Website and may be updated.

The Organizer reserves the right to:

  • modify the Conference program, schedule, speakers, format (in-person/online/hybrid), venue, and/or dates if necessary;
  • cancel the Conference due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to force majeure, public health restrictions, safety concerns, venue unavailability).

If significant changes occur, the Organizer will publish updates on the Website and/or communicate them via e-mail where appropriate.

3) Eligibility and participant obligations

Participants must:

  • provide accurate and complete information in submissions and communications;
  • comply with these Terms and the Conference Code of Conduct (Section 9);
  • respect intellectual property and privacy rights of others;
  • follow instructions from the Organizer before and during the Conference.

The Organizer may refuse participation or remove a participant from the Conference if these Terms are violated.

4) Abstract and paper submissions

4.1 Submission process

Abstracts/papers and required materials must be submitted according to the instructions and deadlines published on the Website (e.g., formatting requirements, language, word/page limits).

Submissions are typically accepted via e-mail. You are responsible for ensuring your message is delivered and for keeping a copy of sent materials.

4.2 Author responsibility

Authors confirm that:

  • the submission is their original work and does not infringe third-party rights;
  • all co-authors have agreed to the submission and the listed author order;
  • citations and references are provided where required;
  • any data or content included is lawfully obtained and used.

4.3 Review and acceptance

The Organizer reserves the right to accept, reject, request revisions, or reassign submissions to appropriate thematic areas, according to the Conference rules and capacity.

5) Registration, fees, and payment

5.1 Registration

Registration is required for participation. Registration details, fees, and deadlines are published on the Website.

5.2 Fees

Conference fees may differ depending on participant category or location, and are listed on the Website.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, fees cover participation and Conference-related services as described on the Website. Travel, accommodation, visas, insurance, and other personal expenses are the participant’s responsibility.

5.3 Payment

Payments are typically made by bank transfer to the accounts indicated on the Website.

The participant is responsible for:

  • any bank charges or transfer fees;
  • providing correct payment reference information where required.

Participation and/or publication may be conditional on timely payment.

6) Cancellation and refunds

Refund and cancellation rules may be published on the Website for the relevant year/edition of the Conference.

Unless a different policy is stated on the Website, the default policy is:

  • Registration fees are non-refundable, except where the Organizer cancels the Conference.
  • If the Conference is canceled by the Organizer, the Organizer may refund fees already paid, minus non-recoverable costs (e.g., payment processing or banking fees), where applicable.

If you cannot attend, you may request that your registration be transferred to another participant (subject to Organizer approval) by contacting cesged@yahoo.com.

7) Intellectual property and permitted use

7.1 Participant materials

All papers, presentations, posters, and other materials remain the intellectual property of their respective authors, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.2 Recording and distribution

Unless explicitly permitted by the Organizer and the author/speaker, participants may not record, photograph, livestream, reproduce, or distribute other participants’ presentations or materials.

7.3 Proceedings and publication

If the Conference publishes proceedings, authors may be required to grant the Organizer a non-exclusive right to publish the accepted paper (including author names and affiliations) in Conference materials and/or proceedings. Any specific publication terms will be communicated on the Website or via e-mail.

8) Privacy and data protection

The Organizer processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Details are available in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (EU) on the Website.

By contacting us via e-mail or submitting materials, you acknowledge that we will process your data to manage Conference organization and communication.

9) Code of conduct

All participants must behave professionally and respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, intimidation, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

The Organizer may take appropriate actions, including warnings, removal from sessions, or cancellation of participation without refund, in case of misconduct.

10) Liability and disclaimer

The Website and Conference information are provided “as is”. While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, the Organizer does not guarantee that all Website content is complete, error-free, or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • the Organizer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages;
  • the Organizer is not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the Conference;
  • participants attend and travel at their own risk.

Participants are advised to arrange appropriate insurance (health, travel, cancellation, and property).

12) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Serbia.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Conference shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Novi Sad, Serbia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
